The Clinica El Rosario is a private, non-profit and high level complexity institution, with two centers in Medellin (Downtown and Tesoro).
It is recognized in Resolution 1560 of June 29, 1995 by the Antioquia Regional Health Office (DSSA, in Spanish). Since its foundation the Clinica El Rosario has ensured not only the material requirements and temporary welfare of human beings, but has focused on the whole person.
It cares about the physical, mental and spiritual health of its customers. Its mission is to provide a hospital service based on Christian ideas, consistent with Gospel values, to deliver its sole objective: A HUMANIZED AND INTEGRAL SERVICE.
At its two centers the Clinica El Rosario has: 7 beds in a neonatal intensive care, 10 beds in a neonatal intermediate care, 12 beds in a coronary care, 4 beds in a pediatric intensive care, 6 beds in a pediatric intermediate care, 13 beds in a adult intermediate care, 14 beds in a adult intensive care, 4 delivery rooms, 13 operating rooms, 49 beds for the obstetric service, 48 beds in pediatrics, 131 beds for medical surgical hospitalization, and 2 pre-anesthesia rooms.
