Servicios de Medicina MedellínSARPA LTDA is a Colombian company with 30 years of experience in the aviation sector and the first in the country to obtain licenses for Medical Air Ambulance operation. Its licenses were issued by the Aviation Authority with code CDO-051 and by the Ministry of Health with the code No. 050010883701. It has transferred patients to and from 19 Latin American countries. In the last four years it has transported 2,500 patients, 80% of whom were considered critically ill.

SARPA performs transfers of adult, pediatric and neonatal patients. It is equipped to carry burn patients, maternal patients, neonates, patients with transvenous or single-chamber pacemakers, multiple trauma and special isolation patients. It has a fleet of pressurized aircraft that are exclusively dedicated to its ambulance service and configured as intensive care units. This fleet consists of three (3) Jetstream 32 EP and one (1) Lear jet 35 A, operating from two bases, one in Medellin and the other in Bogota. The equipment in each aircraft includes: critical care stretcher, transport ventilator, capnography (non-invasive monitoring of ventilation), defibrillator/transcutaneous pacemaker analyzer, incubator, infusion pumps, transvenous pacemaker, secretion aspirator, blood gas and electrolytes analyzer, 10,000 liters of oxygen by aircraft and health kits.
